What is Shared Education
Shared Education provides opportunities for children and young people from different communities and backgrounds to learn together both in and out of school.’ DENI 2016
Shared Education enables children from different sectors to join together for curriculum based collaboration.
It aims to promote reconciliation through building relationships and sharing a variety of learning experiences.
Bushvalley Primary School Partnership
Bushvalley is delighted to have had their applicated accepted in March 2025 for the ASPIRE Shared Education Programme.
Bushvalley Primary School is in partnership with:
- St Patrick's Primary School, Glenariff
- St Ciaran's Primary School, Cushendun and
- William Pinkerton Memorial Primary School, Dervock.
Shared Education 2024/2025
Shared Education commenced in April 2025 with Key Stage Projects. Our Projects are as follows:
- Foundation Stage Focus (Primary 1): Outdoor Learning
- Key Stage 1 (Primary 4): PE & Numeracy
- Key Stage 2 (Primary 6): Emotional Health & Wellbeing
